The Glendon Agricultural Society is a community volunteer-based, non-profit organization dedicated to providing social, educational and recreational opportunities to enhance the quality of life in Glendon and the surrounding rural community. The Society provides these opportunities based on the needs of the community and allows for the changing dynamics of the community.

We have been a member in good standings with the Alberta Association of Agricultural Societies since 1974.

Glendon Volunteer Fire Department

The Glendon Fire Department operates as one of the nine Fire Stations of the Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority. The department is actively seeking for new volunteers, and welcomes those interested to join.

Regular meetings occur every first Monday of the month. Practices are run every second last Monday of the month.

Glendon & District Senior Citizens Club

The club welcomes all senior citizens, visitors and the general public of Glendon and its district to participate in their regular activities. Membership is $10.00/year for senior citizens (ages 55+). You do not have to be a Glendon resident to be a member.

This membership allows you:

  • discount on hall rentals
